Opened my online shop selling products
designed from my artworks
I am thoroughly enjoying designing soft furnishings, accessories and clothing and uploading them onto this site. I've ordered a few items myself to check the quality and I am thrilled with the results!

The Open Door
Exhibition of works at my private gallery
This project has been a long time coming. I have wanted to set up my own art gallery near my studio, and it has finally happened! Viewings are by appointment for now due to the current situation.
I started these works in February 2020 just as the partial lock down was announced and all my projects ground to a halt. In a time when nobody knew how long the situation would last, and the pace of life slowed down like never before, I reconnected with nature and went for long walks in the countryside. I would then come back to my studio and paint for long hours. It kept me safe and sane in those uncertain times. An now I would like to share them with you and hope that they provide you with the same joy
they gave to me.

The Stage Door
Workshop on Costume Creation
This is another production for Ziguzajg 2020. It is the brainchild of Nicole Cuschieri and will feature workshops by weird and wacky characters, demonstrating to children between the ages of 10 to 14 how to create their own cabaret show using the resources they have at home.

Costume design and set illustration
This has been a challenging and interesting project for me which has taken me out of my comfort zone and given me the opportunity to explore new ideas. Produced by Teatru Manoel Toi Toi for Ziguzajg, and which will be aired in November 2020, it is a wonderful way of introducing children and young adults to opera.
Directed by Michael Richardson and written by Malcolm Galea, Trouser Girl also tackles gender issues in a lighthearted and unusual way.
July 2020 and ongoing
The Secret Garden
This is a dream project I am currently working on. It's a collaboration with Lignin Stories and Valletta Cultural Agency.
The project was created by Giuliana Fenech, founder of Lignin Stories. It is a series of online workshops and story books for children, designed to tap into their imagination and creativity. I have been assigned to illustrate the characters and the story books and also create the costumes for the final interactive play that is the culmination of this project. All the costumes will be made from recycled objects which is a delicious challenge for me.
31 July to 3 August 2020
Thrilled to have sold both paintings - 'The Procession' and 'Alley Cat' - at the collective exhibition in aid of the Smiling For Jerome Foundation. The exhibition was held at Paradise Beach Resort.
